When I planned my dive trip to Con Dao, I expected vibrant reefs. And I found them. But then I discovered something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **A Shipwreck Dive**. My heart jumped. This was more than a typical dive; this was journey into history.

I have to admit, I felt a little apprehensive. Wreck diving is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** was fantastic. Their PADI guides provided a very thorough safety briefing. We discussed safety protocols, the history of the sunken ship, and what to expect down there. The fact we were in a small group immediately made me feel safe.

Going down was surreal. First, it was just a dark shape in the distance, then suddenly the structure came into view. It is massive. The ship is now a bustling new home, covered in corals and swarming with marine life. I spotted giant groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the cracks. The feeling of swimming next to this giant, silent click here structure was hard to describe—haunting, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It's a piece of history under the water.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and seeking an adventure more the usual reef dive, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough.
